As a Community Engagement Specialist at Lehigh Valley Health Network, Melissa has over a decade of marketing and communications experience. This experience was built through sales roles in broadcast and print media as well as working directly with companies in a variety of industries on their marketing and communications teams. Through her career, the most valuable lesson she has learned so far is the importance of building authentic relationships. Whether selling advertising or working to build marketing and communications strategies, genuinely understanding who you are talking to and why makes all the difference. This is what led her to joining the Ambassadors Council. With a desire to build relationships and inspire community health, the council provides an opportunity to identify and foster partnerships with other like-minded individuals and organizations whose missions and goals are to make our community better.
