The Chamber is the biggest and most active business networking organization in and around the Lehigh Valley engaging nearly 5,000 businesses and members who employ more than 280,000. And our thirty-plus local chambers, business councils, DEI councils and policy committees are On Every Main Street with more than 1,000 community focused volunteers who actively contribute, at the grass roots, to develop and achieve their respective and collective goals.

African American Business Leaders Council: The mission of the African American Business Leaders Council is to establish an economic presence and enhance the intellectual capital of the African American community through education, support, cultural awareness, and advocacy within the Lehigh Valley. Ambassadors Council: The Ambassador Council serves as the goodwill arm of The Chamber, playing an essential role in member Communication, Appreciation, Retention, and level of Engagement. Energy & Environment Subcommittee: Advance long term business-sensitive strategies for energy, environment and infrastructure to improve the business climate and quality of life in the Valley.

Healthcare Subcommittee: Advocates for pro-business positions on healthcare issues and then develops and implements strategies to affect these positions.

Transportation Subcommittee: Develops and promotes regional transportation strategies which effectively utilize public resources, support commerce, and facilitate economic development.

Community Development Initiative

Main Street Lehigh Valley - The Lehigh Valley Chamber Foundation: The 501c3 charitable arm of the Chamber, the Chamber Foundation’s mission is to improve every Main Street in the Lehigh Valley through targeted investments in revitalization programs, facade improvements, streetscape designs, urban planning, event promotion, sidewalk beautification and other enhancements to the physical appearance of our downtowns and urban centers. As of 2016 more than $325,000 in donations has leveraged about $6.5 million in development, a rate of 20 times the return on investment! The Fé Foundation of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce: The Fé Foundation is a 501(C)3 non-profit partner organization of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of the Lehigh Valley that is organized for the purpose of implementing its educational community outreach programs, primarily the “Futuros Empresarios” or “Future Entrepreneurs” (FE) Program.
