Ty Versocki Manager, Downtown Bethlehem Association
Ty Versocki serves as the Manager of the Downtown Bethlehem Association (DBA), a council of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce dedicated to supporting and promoting Historic Downtown Bethlehem. In this role, Ty works alongside local businesses, community leaders, and partner organizations to strengthen the downtown district through events, marketing initiatives, and community engagement efforts that celebrate the unique character of Bethlehem.
Ty joined the Downtown Bethlehem Association in March 2022 as Assistant Manager and was promoted to Manager in 2024. During that time, Ty has helped significantly expand the organization's events, marketing initiatives, and community engagement efforts, contributing to approximately 22% overall growth in event-related activity while increasing the visibility and economic impact of Historic Downtown Bethlehem and helping strengthen its reputation as a vibrant destination for residents and visitors alike. In addition to overseeing downtown events and initiatives, Ty plays an active role in storytelling and community outreach. Ty continues to lead the DBA’s marketing and communications efforts and, during the period when Ty directly managed day-to-day social media strategy, contributed to approximately 32% overall audience growth across Facebook and Instagram from April 2022 to July 2024. Ty also supports public relations efforts, merchant communications, social media campaigns, and promotional content designed to showcase the people and businesses that make Bethlehem unique. Ty is also the host of the DBA’s Tea with Ty video series, which highlights downtown businesses, community stories, and the unique experiences that make Historic Downtown Bethlehem a vibrant destination.
Prior to joining the DBA, Ty built a career in event management, operations, communications, and community engagement, including roles with the City of Albany’s Office of Special Events and Cultural Affairs and Relentless Awareness LLC. Throughout this work, Ty developed extensive experience in event production, volunteer management, vendor coordination, sponsorship development, marketing, and public relations.
Ty holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from The College of Saint Rose, with a minor in Psychology and a minor in Communications with a focus on Public Relations. Ty is passionate about helping communities thrive through collaboration, creativity, and connection.
