Tammy Wendling SVP of Bethlehem Initiatives, Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce
Tammy Wendling is the Senior Vice President of Bethlehem Initiatives for the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce, where she leads strategic initiatives that strengthen the local economy, support local businesses, and enhance Bethlehem’s reputation as one of Pennsylvania’s premier destinations.
Since joining the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce in 2019, Tammy has played a key role in expanding Bethlehem’s business community through strategic marketing, sponsorships, partnerships, business development, and signature events. She oversees initiatives that engage hundreds of member businesses while producing annual events that attract thousands of visitors to downtown Bethlehem each year.
Tammy has helped grow popular community traditions including Restaurant Week, the Holiday Cocktail Trail, Chocolate Trail, Soup Saunter, and seasonal promotions that drive tourism and economic activity. She also works closely with the City of Bethlehem and community partners to enhance the visitor experience, including during Bethlehem’s internationally recognized Christmas City, USA season. She was instrumental in Bethlehem’s recognition as a Hallmark Hometown Christmas Town.
Before joining the Chamber, Tammy built a successful career in marketing and sales, advertising, executive leadership, and business development. In recognition of her leadership and community impact, she was named a 2024 Women of Influence honoree by Lehigh Valley Business.
A lifelong resident of the Bethlehem area and graduate of Freedom High School, Tammy is passionate about strengthening the community she proudly calls home. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children while continuing to advocate for a vibrant, connected Bethlehem.
