Join the Southern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce as we raise money for our Southern Lehigh Scholarship Fund!

​For the past three years we have been able to give out $1,000 to a graduating senior from Southern Lehigh High School to help with their continuing education and aim to give out another $1,000 or more this year.
​
Our mission with this scholarship is to help a hardworking and most deserving student attend the college where they will thrive, securing the future they have worked so hard for!

This scholarship can pave the way for your career, and we can’t wait to see what the next recipient will achieve!

The deadline for this application is April 15th, 2025!

Requirements

Within this scholarship application, requirements include basic information such as your name, email, etc. as well as, a Student Unofficial Transcript resided in the Southern Lehigh School District (Upper Saucon, Coopersburg, and Lower Milford).

​With also including the Acceptance Letter received from an accredited post-secondary educational institution that you will be enrolling in or attending, and lastly, answers written on a document to two prompts listed. ​

Save the Date! March 5th, 2025, Dine & Donate at Mcdonald's in Coopersburg!

Join the Southern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, March 5th, from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at McDonald’s in Coopersburg for a fun and flavorful Dine & Donate event benefiting the Southern Lehigh Scholarship Fund!

Enjoy your favorite McDonald’s meals while supporting a great cause, because even every burger, fry, and shake purchased during this time helps a portion of all sales go back to help these Southern Lehigh scholars!

Bring your friends, family, and neighbors to make a difference in our community. Together, we can enjoy great food and give back to the next generation of Southern Lehigh leaders.

Save the Date! April 10th, 2025, Dine and Donate at Red Robin!

The Southern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce is excited to partner with your local Red Robin at the Promenade Shops in Center Valley to hold a scholarship fundraiser for the Southern Lehigh School District!

This event will be held April 10th, 2025, from 5:00PM-9:00PM, with a networking portion from 5:30PM-7:30PM! 

Our main focus for this event is to bring supporters from all over for a night of yummy food, networking, and especially funding for the 2024-2025 Southern Lehigh Scholarship!

All proceeds this night, will go towards the scholarship to make a student most deserving successful and set them up with a bright future ahead!

We hope to see you at 2845 Center Valley Pkwy, Center Valley, PA 18034 at 5:00PM!

Previous Recipients

Introducing our recipient from the 2023-2024 school year...

​Robert Cairns!

Robert is a very dedicated student, but an even more dedicated person to his own community. Not only is he starting his upper educational journey at LCCC, but he also plans to transfer to Moravian University as a Psychology major!

After graduation, Robert plans to use his degree and go into the counseling psychology graduate program at Moravian and obtain his licensure as an LPC.

Robert is also very involved in the community where he was an active member of the National Honors Society, member and volunteer of the Skippack Historical Society from 2020 to present, volunteer at the Zionsville Food Pantry starting in 2019 to present, member of Student Council, member of the Bechtelsville Rod and Gun Club, Subcontractor, learning piano and bass guitar, and even learning Chinese!

All while still holding a job at RBC Services LLC as a subcontractor/laborer! 

I think we picked a pretty good recipient if we say so ourselves!

Our recipient from the 2022-2023 school year was no one other than...

​Honesty Jean!

Honesty is currently attending West Chester University majoring in Marketing, with also minoring in Media Communications! With her love for fashion, Honesty plans to use her Marketing degree in this industry as well, along with, using her media skills to help advocate for the advancement of women of color!

She is shining bright, and we cannot wait to see the next recipient shine even brighter!
