The 37th Annual Chamber Snow Ball, proudly presented by Capital Blue Cross, was on Saturday, February 21 at Wind Creek Bethlehem.
The Snow Ball is The Chamber’s premier black-tie-optional gala, combining an elegant dinner dance with a silent and live auction to benefit Community Action of the Lehigh Valley – Second Harvest Food Bank of Lehigh Valley and Northeast PA. Over the past 36 years, the Chamber has proudly contributed more than $800,000 to beneficiaries through the Snow Ball auction.
This year's beneficiary is Community Action Lehigh Valley – Second Harvest Food Bank. The mission of Community Action Lehigh Valley is to improve the quality of life in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas by building communities in which all people have access to economic opportunity, the ability to pursue that opportunity, and a voice in the decisions that affect their lives. Second Harvest Food Bank’s mission is to secure and distribute food to individuals and families in need through partner agencies, while also providing resources for education and advocacy to help end hunger.
At Second Harvest, they believe every person deserves access to healthy, nourishing food. Their work focuses on eliminating food insecurity by providing nutritious options, breaking down barriers to access, and advocating for health and racial equity across our region.
