The Veterans & Military Council of The Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce proudly hosts the annual Lehigh Valley Ruck 'n Run/Walk, a dynamic and impactful event designed to honor and support our veterans and active-duty military personnel. This community-focused event features participants engaging in a challenging yet rewarding ruck march or run/walk, carrying weighted packs to symbolize the burdens exhibited by our service members. By bringing together individuals of all ages and fitness levels, the Ruck 'n Run/Walk fosters camaraderie, raises awareness about veterans' issues, and generates vital funds to support local veterans' programs and initiatives.

For 2026, we are excited to invite veteran-focused nonprofit organizations to apply to be the event beneficiary, ensuring that the funds raised directly benefit those who have bravely served our nation. If your organization is dedicated to supporting veterans, we encourage you to apply and join us in this meaningful endeavor to demonstrate our collective gratitude and commitment to our veterans.

Being selected as The Lehigh Valley Ruck n’ Run/Walk beneficiary requires active involvement in the planning and execution of the event. The beneficiary must provide staff/board/volunteers who will complete the following tasks.

The Veterans & Military Council and The Lehigh Valley Ruck 'n Run/Walk aim to support veterans and military members in business as they serve our nation and communities. Our objectives include helping veterans and those who serve to develop and grow professionally, creating networking and network-building opportunities for veterans and military personnel who either own their businesses or are key influencers in the businesses at which they work, and promoting the leadership attributes of veterans and military service personnel and the skill sets they bring to the Lehigh Valley business community. a) What services do you provide to the Lehigh Valley community that support this mission and these objectives? b) How will you use the Lehigh Valley Ruck 'n Run/Walk proceeds to help further the Council’s goals to support the veteran and military business community? *
