There is no denying that COVID-19 poses a challenge to all of our operations including the various chamber events you have come to expect from us.
 
The health and safety of our members is a top priority. We also believe in the power of events to both build networks and communities, and as a valuable channel for driving business.
 
We have been in contact with the venues across the Valley that will host our upcoming events and we have received assurance that they are increasing the cleaning and disinfecting of their facilities, and that hand washing stations are ample and available for our guests.
 
We are also monitoring communications from health agencies at local, state and national levels. The best resource we have found for information and guidance regarding coronavirus is the Center for Disease Control page, Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Resources for Businesses and Employers, found here.
 
If you are not feeling well or have a compromised immune system, please consider staying home. We look forward to seeing you again soon when this situation passes, and it will pass.

Here are a few things we can do together. Please keep a level head. 
 
1. Updates will be posted as needed on the event pages on our website.
Go to our events page for the latest updates on the event of interest.
 
We will also send updates over email and social media.
 
2. Follow the established health and safety rules for our events
Our on-site rules:

• No Handshakes. You will see No Handshakes signs around. It will seem odd at first, but we will all adapt, and it will be fine.
• No sniffles, no runny noses, no fevers. Please stay home and get some rest!
• Wash, Wash, Wash. Please wash hands regularly. This may create some lines. Our apologies.
• Keep a little space between us. Personal space of about three feet should be respected

 
3. Help us create a sanitary environment at our events

• We will provide attendees with hand sanitizer and/or hand washing stations near where you register at the event. Please take advantage of them.
• We will wipe down microphones and podiums, etc. after each use.
• We will remind attendees of hygiene best practices over email and social media and with signage at each event.
