Event Description: This event is ****SOLD OUT**** “How to Effectively Engage the Younger Generation in the Workplace” If you have adolescent children, then you know how difficult it can be to communicate with an entire generation that only knows how to text, Skype, email, face time and snap chat for communication. This generation is much more tech savvy then their previous generations but this can also be an extreme challenge to the business owner who has to engage these individuals effectively in the workplace. Wayne Packer, Director-Field Human Resources for Lowes, knows all too well the challenges you face in transforming these individuals into effective communicators with customers and suppliers. Join us to learn some of the effective strategies that Wayne has executed in the Lowes workplace to leverage the skills of this tech savvy generation. Wayne Packer’s Bio: Wayne has been in the HR function with Lowe’s for the last 10 years, currently leading the HR function for Field Operations serving the Store and Supply Chain Network for Lowe’s US. Previously he served as the Regional Human Resource Director in Philly, NYC, and NJ and College Recruiting Manager for Lowe’s. He graduated from PSU in 1991 with a BA in Labor and Industrial Relations focusing on Employee Relations.
