Presented annually by The Chamber for the past 25 years, we actively support ATHENA International’s mission to support, develop and honor women leaders, inspire women to achieve their full potential, and create balance in leadership worldwide. The ATHENA Award honors individuals who demonstrate excellence, creativity and initiative in their business or profession, who provide valuable service by contributing time and energy to improve the quality of life for others in the community and who actively assist other women in realizing their full leadership potential.
2008 marked the first year for the ATHENA Young Professional Award. As an extension of the ATHENA Award, the ATHENA Young Professional Award will honor an emerging leader in her business or profession who gives back to the community and serves as a role model for other young women, both professionally and personally.
