The Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce Foundation is the charitable arm of The Chamber. Structured as a 501(C)(3) organization, it accepts donations from the private sector to directly fund business development programs in the region’s urban core and central business districts. These funds supplement existing public sector resources, investing in projects that enhance and beautify the downtown landscape for the purpose of attracting business, residents, and consumers to our city centers.

A $25,000 Foundation check was presented to Dr. Henry Odi, Lehigh University, and Burdette ‘Buddy’ Chapel, Harrison-Morton Middle School, by Tony Iannelli, The Chamber, and Lee Butz, Alvin H. Butz Co., on September 18. Mr. Butz provided funding and collaboration for this project that will allow students to interact with robots in a classroom that simulates NASA. The robots can also be connected remotely with a laptop from anywhere in the world.

Tony Iannelli presented a check to the Borough of Bath for flower boxes. Valley Vision 2015 :
The Valley Vision 2015 initiative was created to support the Foundation’s mission of improving every main street in the Lehigh Valley through targeted investments in façade improvements, streetscape designs, sidewalk beautification, and other creative enhancements to the physical appearance of our business districts.
With seed money from The Chamber – support of the administrations of Lehigh & Northampton Counties – and financial commitments from some of the area’s most influential business leaders – we have created the pathway to making our cities magnets for creative people, innovative companies, and financial capital.
Valley Vision 2015 is conducting a 5-year capital campaign to fund ongoing support for projects that are critical to the mission of the Foundation, including the Borough Business Revitalization Program, The Design/ Façade Challenge Grant, and Elm Street Program grants.
