The Arc of Lehigh and Northampton Counties provides a wide variety of quality programs and services for more than 1,900 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilites and their families in the Lehigh Valley each year. Programs include Advocacy Services, our SPARC state-licensed adult training facility, Agency With Choice program, Family Driven/Family Support services, and Evening Recreation programs. The Arc is the only provider of Advocacy Services in our community - advocacy is at the heart of our mission and we are a tireless advocate for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilites and their families. Aour Advocacy Services program serves more than 800 people each yearthrough Education Advocacy for children and youth, Adult Advocacy, Specialized Training for families, and a Family Resource Center lending library. Further, we help self-advocates and their families by creating opportunities to help them reach their goals.
